Drivetrain is seeking a Backend Engineer to join our remote-first team. You’ll work on backend application development, algorithms, system design, and production services using a cutting-edge stack.

As an early team member, you’ll help shape engineering practices and culture while tackling complex data and distributed systems challenges, with Java, Spring, Hibernate, Redis, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and AWS.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with distributed systems is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with the listed tech stack is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication and proactive mindset.
