Drivetrain is seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join a remote-first, fast-growing team focused on automation and high-quality software delivery. You will build and maintain automation frameworks, implement robust backend solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive reliability and performance.

You will contribute to the design of scalable services, ensure code quality, and stay ahead with modern cloud and testing practices to support Product-led growth.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in backend languages (Python/Java/C#/Ruby/Go).
• Experience with backend web frameworks (Django/Flask/Spring Boot/Ruby on Rails/Node.js).
• API design and development (RESTful APIs and GraphQL).
• Database proficiency with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Automation frameworks and tooling experience.
• Commitment to clean code and best practices in software development.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop automation frameworks to streamline development processes.
• Identify, diagnose, and fix bugs to ensure system reliability.
• Promote clean code and maintainability across the codebase.
• Develop and optimize backend performance for scalability and efficiency.
