Job summary

ORR Protection is seeking a Fire Alarm Apprentice in the Houston, TX area to join our team and pursue a long-term career. As a Field Service Technician in training, you will support the deployment, testing and service of fire alarm systems and fire suppression equipment.

You will participate in a formalized training program combining hands-on field experience with classroom-style instruction to develop essential skills and independence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree or certification in low-voltage electricity or related field is preferred.
• Military fire protection experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection and testing tasks according to OPS work instructions.
• Assist in installation and commissioning tasks with supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.
