Job summary

Mission Federal Credit Union in San Diego is seeking a Financial Product Specialist to support member financial decisions in a fast-paced Contact Center. You will handle consumer loan inquiries, applications, and servicing while delivering excellent member experiences.

You will interview members, review credit, process loan decisions, and guide loans from application through funding. Strong communication, sales skills, and a team-first attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a financial institution with consumer loan processing experience
• Excellent verbal communication and strong organizational skills
• Proven ability to guide members through loan applications and funding
• Ability to build relationships, ask questions, uncover needs, and recommend solutions

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional member experience while assisting with consumer loans, inquiries, new accounts and account servicing
• Interview members, review credit, process loan applications, and communicate decisions and terms
• Guide loans from application to funding and ensure accurate documentation
• Balance a high volume of calls and applications with accuracy and service
• Be a collaborative team player, sharing knowledge and supporting others
