Qualifications

• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance (CA(SA)/ACCA/CIMA preferred).
• At least 7 years in accounting/finance, with 3+ in supervisory/controlling roles.
• Proven experience managing remote teams with virtual collaboration tools.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and understanding of SA tax legislation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, payroll).
• Ensure timely IFRS-compliant financial statements (monthly/quarterly/annual).
• Develop budgets and forecasts with variance analysis.
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks remotely.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership.
