Job summary

MaziCTools is seeking a highly skilled Controller for a fully remote role serving our nationwide operations. You will lead the finance team, oversee monthly and annual financial reporting, and implement robust internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in accounting/financial management, with supervisory experience and CPA/CMA preferred. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic analyses for senior management, mentor staff, and coordinate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years progressive accounting/financial management experience.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training.
• Supervise accounts payable/receivable and staff accounting operations.
• Ensure accurate transactions and timely reconciliations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and address findings.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management.
• Provide actionable insights to improve financial performance.
