Job summary

The NBA is seeking an Associate Manager, Financial Analyst to support WNBA Team Finance and coordinate financial reporting and analytics across teams. You will review projections, audits, and provide insights on performance while helping with ticket and union reporting during the annual business cycle.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance with 3–4 years in finance, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and comfort with large data sets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in public accounting, financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Collect team projections, vet information, perform variance analysis and ensure reporting consistency.
• Run benchmarking analyses on team projections and provide insights to staff and league.
• Assist with ticket reporting and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
• Serve as contact for team billing requisitions and communications to teams.
• Support team audit processes by liaising with team financial reps and external auditors.
• Research accounting guidance to assist teams.
