Job summary

The National Basketball Association (NBA) is seeking an Associate Manager to support WNBA Team Finance by coordinating financial reporting and analytics across the league’s teams. This role partners with team financial representatives to review projections, perform analyses, and support annual business processes.

You will manage variance analyses, benchmarking, and weekly ticket reporting while liaising with internal and external auditors.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field is required.
CPA is preferred but not required.
Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in public accounting, FP&A, corporate finance, or related field.

Responsibilities

Collect team projections, vet information, perform variance analysis and ensure reporting consistency among teams.
Run benchmarking analyses on team projections and provide insights to team and league personnel.
Assist with weekly ticket reporting for team/league distribution and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
Serve as contact for league deliverables such as team billing requisitions and communications to teams.
Assist with the team audit process, liaising between team financial representatives and external auditors.
Research accounting guidance as necessary to help teams.
