GovCIO is hiring a Financial Analyst to support the National Security Sector. This fully remote role within the United States may require occasional Fairfax, VA office visits. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, variance analysis, and assisting with budgets and quarterly forecasts.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree with 2–5 years in finance, knowledge of government contracting concepts, and strong Excel skills. DoW clearance may be needed; U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field and 2–5 years in a finance role.
• Foundational understanding of Government contracting concepts (CAS, FAR, GAAP).
• Proficiency with Excel and ability to prepare analysis for management.

• Prepare timely financial reports, including program trend and variance analysis.
• Support forecasting, budgets, and month-end close activities.
• Analyze key program drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Assist with subcontractor spending and cost/revenue reviews.
• Collaborate with accounting, contracts, and procurement teams.
