GovCIO is seeking a Financial Analyst to support our National Security Sector. This fully remote role within the United States involves providing timely financial reporting, variance analysis, and forecasting support for a large program with multiple task orders.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree with 2–5 years in finance, strong Excel skills, and an understanding of government contracting concepts. DoW clearance may be required; U.S. citizenship is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2–5 years in Finance.
• Foundational understanding of Government Contracting concepts (CAS, FAR, GAAP).
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to obtain DoW security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Familiarity with contract types (FFP, T&M, Cost Type) is helpful.

Responsabilités

• Prepare timely financial reporting deliverables including program trend analysis, variance analysis against budget and monthly reporting for executive management.
• Support Senior Financial Analyst in managing large program with multiple task orders and contribute to quarterly forecasts and annual operating budgets.
• Provide foundational analysis of key program drivers, risks, and opportunities.
• Prepare data and analysis to support program operational reviews.
• Support the program month-end close process including cost accruals, revenue recognition and expense reviews.
• Monitor subcontracting spending and assist with subcontractor voucher approvals.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Contracts, Procurement and other corporate back-office departments to support program operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
