Job summary

Gallagher Benefit Services seeks a financial & actuarial consulting professional to provide guidance to account teams, analyze client data, and prepare deliverables. You will work with proprietary models and tools to calculate financial results and help negotiate rates and funding levels.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree and at least 3 years in employee benefits underwriting, with strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years within employee benefits field in an underwriting capacity.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and present reports showing client financial status, renewal projections, and funding levels to Account Management and clients when necessary.
• Analyze data from carriers and provide recommendations to account management teams or to clients, to negotiate rates and funding levels.
• Prepare, analyze and consult on various client deliverables for the Financial & Actuarial Consulting team.
• Assist in training subordinates and peer review reports generated by Financial Benefits Consulting team subordinates.
• Stay abreast of what's happening in local markets to keep branches competitive.
