Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years in employee benefits underwriting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
• Advanced Excel skills and a Math or Finance degree are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data from carriers on clients and provide recommendations to account teams or clients to negotiate rates and funding.
• Speak effectively on behalf of the underwriting team regarding core services and scope.
• Evaluate and present monthly, quarterly, and annual client financial reports.
• Track expenses by product line, renewal projections, funding levels, and rates for management teams and clients.
• Prepare presentations, campaigns, and communication materials for internal staff and clients.
