Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years within employee benefits field in an underwriting capacity.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
• Advanced Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and assistance to account teams and clients by using financial decision-making tools and speaking on behalf of the underwriting team.
• Analyze data from carriers on clients and provide recommendations to account management and clients to negotiate rates and funding levels.
• Evaluate, present monthly, quarterly and annual reports that measure client financial status, track expenses by product line, renewal projections, funding levels and rates.
