Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a strategic leader for the role of Lead – Finance Strategy, Special Projects and Solution Design.

You will guide high-impact initiatives across Finance, focusing on process improvement, operating model transformation, solution design, and automation to deliver measurable business value. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, process improvement, solution design, project management, consulting, portfolio management, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience leading complex projects or strategic initiatives.
• Ability to assess business challenges, develop practical solutions, and drive execution across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience building relationships and influencing stakeholders across functions and levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic projects focused on process improvement, solution design, operating model transformation, and automation.
• Partner with Finance leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to define requirements and design solutions.
• Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies to improve Finance capabilities.
• Support development of Finance target-state capabilities and roadmaps.
• Analyze operational, financial, and strategic considerations to evaluate investments.
• Drive execution of initiatives including planning, coordination, and reporting.
• Facilitate collaboration across Finance and partner organizations to promote continuous improvement.
• Lead cross-functional efforts across Finance, Technology, Data & Analytics, Governance, and business teams.
• Contribute to Finance portfolio management activities including prioritization, sequencing, budgeting, and value measurement.
• Develop presentations and executive communications to articulate objectives and outcomes.
• Support organizational change management including communications and training.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and value metrics.
