DIRECTV is offering a 10-week remote internship in the Tax/Finance area. You will analyze tax drivers, perform financial analyses on proposed legislation, and develop SQL reports from Snowflake while collaborating cross-functionally with leaders.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a 4-year or advanced degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance, with strong data analytics, Excel and Power BI skills, and the ability to present insights clearly. Power BI and data storytelling abilities are prized.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year undergrad or advanced degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance.
• Strong data analytics and visualization experience.
• Ability to present and speak with leaders.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• SQL experience is a plus; data storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drivers of California property tax values.
• Conduct financial analysis on pending tax legislation affecting customers or DIRECTV.
• Create SQL reports from Snowflake.
• Support cross-functional initiatives with data-driven storytelling.
