Job summary

DIRECTV is offering a 10-week remote summer internship in Tax. This role supports the Finance organization with data analytics and reporting, preparing insights on California property tax and tax legislation.

Ideal candidates are pursuing undergrad or graduate degrees in Tax, Accounting or Finance, proficient in Excel and Power BI, with SQL experience a plus; strong communication and collaboration skills are essential. Program dates are 6/7/27–8/13/27 or 6/14/27–8/20/27.

Qualifications

• Students pursuing a 4-year undergraduate degree or advanced degree in Tax, Accounting or Finance.
• Passion for numbers and data with demonstrated experience in data analytics and visualization.
• Comfortable presenting and speaking with leaders; strong communication skills.
• Excel and PPT proficiency; SQL experience is a plus; Power BI experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drivers of tax values and conduct financial analysis on tax legislation.
• SQL reporting and data analysis from Snowflake to support tax initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and present insights to leadership.
