Job summary

builtinintegrationsandbox is seeking an experienced remote accounting professional to join the finance team. The role supports budgeting, forecasting, audits, and process improvements, while ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's in accounting, 3–8 years in accounting or auditing (public accounting valued), strong Excel skills, and experience with NetSuite, Intacct, or QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years at staff level or 5–8 years at senior level in accounting or auditing; public accounting experience valued.
• Strong grasp of financial statement prep, GAAP, and revenue recognition.
• Advanced Excel skills with experience using accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting work: reconciliations, journal entries, AR/AP, and billing.
• Analyse spending, validate allocations, and report results to stakeholders.
• Ensure transactions follow GAAP and company policies.
• Review billing for correct revenue recognition application.
• Post recurring entries and contribute to statements, budgets, and audits.
• Identify and implement improvements to workflows and controls.
