Job summary

BuiltInIntegrationsandbox is seeking a Staff or Senior Accountant for a fully remote role that supports a growing finance function. You will maintain accurate records, produce reports, ensure GAAP compliance, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting, audits, and process improvements.

The position reports to the Controller, requires a Bachelor's in accounting (CPA preferred) and 3–8 years of accounting or auditing experience, with proficiency in Excel and systems such as NetSuite, Intacct, or

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years of accounting or auditing experience for Staff level, or 5–8 years for Senior level; public accounting background preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of financial statement preparation, GAAP, and revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Manage core accounting workflows including account reconciliations, journal entries, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing.
• Review company expenditures to confirm correct allocation across departments and report findings to budget owners.
• Ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with GAAP and internal policies, including proper revenue recognition treatment.
• Post monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals and review general ledger accounts for accuracy.
• Assist with preparation of financial statements, budget variance analysis, and management budgets.
• Prepare year-end schedules supporting annual tax returns and identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes.
