Job summary

builtinintegrationsandbox is seeking a remote accounting professional to maintain accurate financial records, support month/year-end close, and help with audits and tax schedules. You will contribute to budgeting, variance analyses, and improving accounting workflows in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting or 5–8 years at a senior level, with CPA preferred. Strong Excel and experience with NetSuite/Intacct/QuickBooks are expected, plus clear communication for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years of accounting or audit at Staff level, or 5–8 years at Senior level, with public accounting preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of financial statement prep, GAAP, and revenue recognition.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with ability to explain financial info to non-finance stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite/Intacct/QuickBooks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting activities: reconciliations, journal entries, AR, AP, and billing.
• Review expenditures for correct allocation and report variances.
• Ensure transactions align with GAAP and internal policies.
• Analyze billing to ensure proper revenue recognition.
• Maintain GL and post accruals; assist with financial statements and budgets.
• Prepare year-end schedules supporting tax filing; design/improve procedures.
