Job summary

Porch Group is seeking a Finance Manager, Insurance to join the Insurance FP&A team. This remote US-based role reports to the Senior Director, Insurance FP&A and supports budgeting, forecasting, and analysis across the insurance business, including capital, reinsurance, and strategic initiatives.

The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, audit readiness, and collaboration with actuarial, premium, losses, and corporate finance partners.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in reinsurance, insurance capital management, or related finance roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• CPA, CFA, or actuarial designation (ACAS/FCAS) preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and monthly forecast for the insurance division.
• Analyze capital structure and forecasting models, monitor risk metrics and regulatory requirements.
• Document processes and ensure audit readiness; collaborate with actuarial and finance partners.
• Use AI tools to streamline recurring analyses and improve reporting speed and accuracy.
