Job summary

CFS is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst and FP&A Manager to join a growing finance team. This hands-on role combines accounting fundamentals with strategic financial analysis and business partnership in a remote setting.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in FP&A, insurance brokerage experience, and strong Excel skills, with the ability to deliver insights to executive leadership in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related accounting/finance function.
• Experience within the insurance brokerage industry is required.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and reporting capabilities.
• Experience with revenue analysis, variance analysis, and identifying key business drivers.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
• Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate performance and drivers.
• Prepare management reports, variance analyses, and reporting packages.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to drive profitability.
• Partner with leaders to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Support leadership with scenario planning and data-driven decisions.
• Improve reporting processes and forecasting accuracy.
