Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an experienced Finance Analyst/Manager to join our growing company. This role will support the USCG effort, reporting to the Sr Manager of FP&A.

The successful candidate will have excellent finance acumen and proven leadership to build strong relationships with customer stakeholders, program managers, and company leadership. You will manage financial reporting, rolling forecasts, budgets, invoicing, and pricing analysis, collaborating with Accounting, Contracts and Procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline with 8+ years (or commensurate experience).
• Government Contracting experience; Knowledgeable with CAS, FAR and GAAP.
• Experience developing financial planning and analysis cadence.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables, formulas and modeling.
• Strong communication and ability to distill complex financial data for stakeholders.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Partner with VP and program team to provide analysis and guidance to improve financial performance.
• Produce timely financial reporting including P&L, trends, variances and monthly reports.
• Manage monthly rolling forecast and annual operating budgets.
• Support PMO with financial planning, invoicing, and subcontractor management.
• Assist with ROMs, Option Years, and repricing exercises.
• Track subcontractor spending and funding.
• Recommend process improvements and corrective actions.
• Oversee month-end close: cost accruals, revenue recognition, expense reviews.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Contracts, Procurement and back-office teams.
