Job summary

Pathstone is seeking a Finance Associate to manage daily Concur activities, train teammates, and back up Accounts Payable. The role supports discrete in-office duties under the Manager’s guidance, with remote work flexibility and occasional onsite requirements.

The candidate will handle expense reports, Concur administration, and various finance tasks including vendor payments and year-end processing, contributing to efficient internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field required.
• 3–5 years of experience in expense management, AP, accounting operations, or related Finance role.
• Experience with SAP Concur Expense strongly preferred; BILL payables experience a plus.
• Experience processing team member expense reports and AP transactions.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with the team.

Responsibilities

• Review and process team member expense reports in Concur; ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
• Manage Concur user database; setup, maintenance, and user support.
• Provide Concur training to new team members and maintain training materials.
• Own day-to-day expense management under Manager oversight; identify improvements.
• Perform in-office Finance duties; process batch client checks and mail state tax checks.
• Back up Accounts Payable functions including vendor payments and invoice processing.
• Assist with quarterly shareholder distributions, year-end 1099 processing, and ad hoc reporting.
• Administer the AmEx corporate card program; back-up card ordering and payments.
