This role is primarily remote, with onsite presence at a facility in Dallas, Texas. This position is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations function, responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience analyzing information and making judgments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze maintenance spending data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and post journal entries for expenses, receipts, owner distributions, and funding requests.
• Complete accounting transactions to prepare client financial statement packages.
• Execute the month-end close process by reviewing and finalizing financial transactions.
• Aggregate data from multiple sources to generate reports and analyze trends.
• Use Excel and organizational tools to track forecasting and budgeting.
• Lead process improvements and leverage AI-driven tools to streamline workflows.
• Research accounting issues, identify potential conflicts, and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, management, and vendors regarding financial reporting and accounting inquiries.
• Collaborate across departments to provide detailed reporting and resolve complex financial issues.
• Verify the accuracy of information provided to management and respond to ad hoc requests.
