About the Role

As a CBRE Finance Manager, you will lead the team responsible for Finance Strategy and Operations, including annual budget preparation, monthly forecasting, strategic planning, and management reporting. You will oversee the financial performance of a large portfolio of healthcare facilities, with a specific focus on maintenance spending. This is a client-facing role that requires strong analytical skills and the ability to drive process improvements through technology. This position is primarily remote, though it requires onsite presence at a facility in Dallas, Texas.

This job is part of the Financial Strategy and Operations job function. They are responsible for maintaining accounting, financial, and reporting policies and controls.

What You’ll Do

• Manage financial analytics regarding variances, forecasting, salaries, headcount, and third-party maintenance spending.
• Utilize Excel and internal organizational systems to track forecasting, budgeting, and expenses to identify areas for operational improvement.
• Produce a variety of routine and ad hoc financial reports, packages, and pro forma analyses for senior management and the planning unit.
• Review balance sheet account analyses, statements of cash flow, supporting schedules, and standard consolidated reporting packs to ensure accuracy.
• Provide formal supervision for one to two Finance Analysts.
• Delegate and prioritize daily tasks to ensure team objectives are met.
• Monitor staff training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship.
• Lead the month-end close process by reviewing, verifying, and finalizing all financial transactions and activities.
• Review and approve monthly journal entries.
• Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes.
• Coordinate the research, development, and preparation of accounting policies and procedures.
• Leverage AI-driven tools to streamline financial processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service and clear communication.
• Verify the accuracy of information provided and respond promptly to inquiries from management and direct reports.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
