Job summary

E EnerSys is seeking a Finance AI & Automation Developer to design, build, and deploy AI-driven automation across FP&A and Investor Relations. You will lead projects, collaborate with IT and finance, and scale pilots into production, improving forecast accuracy and cycle times.

The role emphasizes AI tooling, data analytics, and governance, with a focus on delivering scalable, automated financial processes in a global setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Finance, or equivalent.
• Project Management experience.
• Digital Process Automation experience.
• AI workflow experience.
• AI Agent creation experience.
• App building experience (personal or professional).
• AI-generated coding experience (e.g., Claude Code, Codex).
• Azure experience.
• Strong understanding of data structures and APIs.
• Experience with Python or other coding languages.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support development of financial forecasting models using AI-enabled tools.
• Analyze historical data to identify patterns and forecast drivers.
• Evaluate forecast accuracy and document methodologies.
• Pilot and integrate AI tools into budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning.
• Build scenario, sensitivity, and predictive models for strategic planning.
