Job summary

EnerSys is seeking a Finance AI & Automation Developer to design, build, and deploy AI-driven automation across FP&A and Investor Relations. You will lead projects, coordinate with IT, and scale pilots from validation to production, enabling faster, more accurate financial planning.

The role focuses on forecasting accuracy, scenario modeling, and automated workflows, partnering with Finance and IT to implement AI tools and governance. Strong coding and data skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Finance, or equivalent.
• Project Management experience required.
• Digital Process Automation experience required.
• AI workflow experience required.
• AI Agent creation experience required.
• App building experience required, either personal and/or professional.
• AI-generated coding experience required (e.g., Claude Code, Codex).
• Azure experience required.
• Strong understanding of data structures and APIs required.
• Experience with Python and/or other coding languages required.
• 1-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent based on project volume and scope.

Responsibilities

• Support development of financial forecasting and long-range planning models using AI-enabled tools.
• Analyze historical financial data to identify patterns and drivers.
• Evaluate forecast accuracy and model performance; document methods.
• Pilot AI tools into budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning workflows.
• Build scenario, sensitivity, and predictive models for strategic planning.
• Prepare data, perform cleansing, and validate model integrity.
• Develop templates and user guidance for AI-enabled tools.
• Lead transformation projects and manage multiple tasks.
