Job summary

Komatsu is seeking a Field Technician - Remote Rotational Work in Las Vegas, NV. You will maintain and repair heavy equipment, traveling to Tonopah and other sites as needed, with a flexible schedule and remote field assignments.

This role offers an hourly pay of $38.00 to $60.00, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSA, 401k and generous PTO with an annual bonus. Significant travel is required and a valid driver's license with related certifications is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of hands-on field technician or mechanical experience.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and maintain an annual repair efficiency rate of at least 85% through high-quality repairs.
• Keep rework hours under 3% of total billed hours.
• Follow standardized repair times and meet scorecard objectives.
• Prioritize health and safety and follow all policies.
• Maintain detailed repair documentation, parts, and time spent.
• Provide timely quotes and maintain customer communication.
• Diagnose issues with advanced troubleshooting and test repairs.
• Apply systematic failure analysis for long-term solutions.
