Job summary

BinSentry is seeking a conscientious Part-time Field Technician to install and service our devices across multiple regions. You will travel to rural farm locations, install sensors, and perform basic troubleshooting while following strict biosecurity rules.

A strong customer-service approach and reliable, safety-minded work ethic are essential. The role involves climbing bins, working in various weather conditions, and maintaining accurate logs of miles and time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Working at heights certification with fall protection knowledge.
• Clean driving record and ability to drive 8–10 hrs per day.
• Reliable smartphone and basic measurement skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent English communication and customer service mindset.
• Positive attitude and service orientation.
• Trustworthy, punctual, and reliable.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Physically able to climb and lift over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drive to rural areas to install and service devices on farm locations (1–50 per day).
• Disinfect tires and boots, climb bins 10–40 ft tall, install sensor and solar panel; installation takes 10–15 minutes.
• Troubleshoot basic issues on field devices requiring service.
• Follow biosecurity rules for each farm location.
• Maintain accurate mileage records and time sheets.
