BinSentry is seeking a Field Deployment Coordinator to support the rollout of ProSense HD technology at customer feed mills across the U.S. and Canada.

This field-based role blends on-site surveys with office tasks, requiring travel, climbing, and hands-on data collection, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will survey sites, coordinate with customers and contractors, assist installations, and manage field logistics from your base point to various mill locations.

The Role

Field Deployment Coordinator is a field-based, high-travel role supporting the deployment of BinSentry's ProSense HD technology at customer feed mills throughout the U.S. and Canada. This is not a traditional office or remote position. Your home is your starting point, but your workplace could be a feed mill anywhere across the U.S. or Canada.

You will spend a significant amount of your time at customer feed mills, working directly with customers and contracting teams, conducting site surveys, inspecting feed bins, gathering measurements and site data, and supporting installations and service visits. You'll be outside and in the elements. You'll climb ladders and elevated structures, work in dusty and dirty environments, carry survey equipment, and spend hours on your feet moving around large feed-mill sites.

When you're not in the field, you'll handle the computer-based side of the role - preparing survey presentations, maintaining trackers and documentation, coordinating with customers and contractors, and planning upcoming field work. This position reports to the Deployment Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct Site Surveys

• Travel to customer feed mills to conduct detailed surveys for BinSentry installations.
• Coordinate survey schedules and site access with customers.
• Inspect feed bins, site conditions, access, construction, and potential installation obstacles.
• Collect bin measurements, photos, notes, and installation requirements using tools such as tape and laser measures.
• Determine the appropriate sensor installation approach for each bin.
• Survey sites ranging from approximately 5 to 100+ bins, with visits typically lasting 2–8 hours.
• Review findings with customers and complete survey documentation and presentations.

Work Directly with Customers

• Serve as the BinSentry representative during customer site visits.
• Build relationships with customer contacts and clearly explain survey and service activities.
• Coordinate site access and requirements, provide updates, and summarize completed work before leaving.

Support Installations & Service Visits

• Travel to sites and coordinate with contracting teams during installations and service visits.
• Monitor work against the planned scope and verify sensors are properly installed and visible in the appropriate applications.
• Document completed work and communicate updates internally.

Manage Travel & Field Logistics

• Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, rental vehicles, hotels, and local transportation.
• Prepare survey equipment and supplies and obtain additional materials as needed.
• Adjust travel plans based on changing customer or project requirements.

Qualifications

Experience & Skills

• Comfortable with climbing ladders and using small elevators. Also not afraid of heights.
• Comfortable with frequent travel across the U.S. and Canada as needed.
• Experience in project coordination, scheduling, or operations support (ag-tech or agricultural experience a plus).
• Strong organizational and communication skills for coordinating across internal teams and external partners.
• Comfortable working with data and trackers to monitor status and flag issues.
• Basic proficiency with measurement tools (laser measure, tape measure) and electronic devices (smartphone, modem) a plus.

Location & Travel

Central in the U.S. and/or Canada is preferred for ease of coordination and occasional travel to client sites. This role may involve periodic travel (approximately 60-75% of the time) within and between the U.S. and Canada.
