Job summary

BinSentry is seeking a conscientious Part-time Field Technician to install and service our devices across multiple regions, traveling to rural farm locations. The job involves climbing bins up to 40 ft, disinfecting boots, and performing quick installations of sensors and small solar panels.

You will also troubleshoot basic field device issues, follow biosecurity rules, and maintain mileage/time records. Strong communication in English and a reliable smartphone are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and working at heights certification are required.
• Clean driving record with ability to drive 8–10 hours per day.
• Reliable smartphone and basic measurement skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and service devices at farms across multiple regions.
• Disinfect tires and boots, climb bins up to 40 ft, and install sensor and solar panel inside the site’s bin.
• Troubleshoot basic issues on field devices as needed.
• Adhere to biosecurity rules at each farm location.
• Maintain accurate mileage records and time sheets.
