Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Field Technical Representative I to join the Duro-Last team in the Kansas/Iowa region. This full-time, salary position includes a company vehicle and expense account, with regional travel expected.

You’ll perform warranty/technical services for commercial roofing projects, inspect installations, and assist with repairs as needed. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or Architecture (or equivalent experience), 2+ years in construction, and 10–15% travel.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience in commercial low slope roofing, construction, roof inspection or quality assurance is highly desirable.
• Strong motivation, organization, and time management with good written and oral communication.
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Demonstrated work ethic: punctual, dependable, trustworthy.
• Read and comprehend roofing specifications and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical inspections of commercial roofing applications for warranty coverage.
• Conduct leak investigations and make small repairs to stop leaks.
• Assist in completing larger warranty repairs in the region.
• Mentor licensed roofing contractors in proper techniques for Duro-Last products.
• Educate customers on specifications needed to warrant their installation.
