Job summary

LECO Corporation is seeking an Onsite Support Engineer to service analytical and metallographic instruments across the South-Central U.S. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and install upgrades at customer sites while upholding ISO standards.

Expect regular travel with up to four overnight stays per week. Training in St. Joseph, MI, and ongoing field mentoring are provided to grow expertise.

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree or trade school completed.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues on analytical and metallographic instruments through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Install new instruments and apply updates/upgrade kits to existing systems.
• Guide users on theory, day-to-day operation, software workflows, and maintenance habits that extend uptime.
• Deliver every service activity to LECO’s ISO accreditation standards.
