Job summary

LECO Corporation is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the Southwestern region. The role is fully remote with travel to customer facilities for maintenance, repairs, installations, and training on analytical and metallographic instrumentation.

Ideal candidates reside near Shreveport, LA, with coverage across Louisiana, Texas and Arkansas. Travel up to four overnights per week is required, and a $5,000 signing bonus is offered.

Qualifications

Two Year Technical Degree or Trade School is required or equivalent.
Military experience with training in a technical field is a plus.
Equivalent technical training or experience may satisfy the education requirement.

Responsibilities

Provide preventive/general maintenance, breakdown repair and troubleshooting on instrumentation.
Perform new instrument installations and upgrade kit installations.
Provide training on theory, operation and maintenance practices to customers.
Maintain accurate inventory and vehicle logs and expense reports.
