Job summary

LECO is seeking a Field Service Engineer to work remotely with travel across the Southwestern Region, primarily serving LA, TX, and AR. The role includes maintenance, repairs, installations, and training on analytical and metallographic instrumentation.

Travel up to four overnights per week is expected, with a signing bonus of $5,000. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with strong communication and organizational skills, and possess a technical degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with ability to work remotely with limited supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong mechanical skills; familiarity with AC and DC electronics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive/general maintenance and repair on analytical/metallographic instrumentation.
• Perform installations and upgrade kit installations.
• Provide training on theory, operation, and maintenance practices.
• Maintain inventory records, expense reports, and vehicle logs.
