Qualifications

• A master's degree in education is required.
• Relevant credentials/licensure and/or demonstrated competence in teaching.
• Good professional standing.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large.
• Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students.
• Assist the designated faculty with field-based experiences for students in an efficient, professional, and supportive manner; work closely with cooperating teachers as the candidate learns the student teaching process and acquires the knowledge, understanding, and the entry-level skills required in the teaching discipline.
• Maintain records and evaluations as requested, for activities the students complete during the field-based experiences.
• Complete required institutional, program accreditation and other reports as requested.
• Works closely with both student teachers and job-embedded candidates in K-12 field placements.
• Travel to partner district schools and assigned field placement sites are required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
