Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking an experienced Field Sourcing Recruiter to grow our Worksite Division network of captive 1099 agents. The role focuses on proactive candidate sourcing, pipeline building, and engaging prospects, then routing qualified candidates to partner recruiters for the next steps in hiring.

You will drive sourcing strategies with Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other platforms, maintain robust candidate pipelines, and help achieve annual agent hiring goals in a remote-capable,

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of full-cycle 1099 recruiting experience.
• Demonstrated success sourcing passive and active candidates.
• Experience with Greenhouse or similar ATS.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Appcast, referrals, and other platforms.
• Screen and qualify candidates and schedule with partner recruiters.
• Manage full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to offer and appointment.
• Meet annual hiring goals, including appointing at least 40 agents per year.
• Collaborate with field leaders and HR to support hiring goals and compliance.
