Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Field Sales Engineer to join a leading IT solutions team. The role focuses on translating networking and video expertise into customer outcomes, supporting pre- and post-sales activities, and designing solutions for clients in the US.

The position is remote for US-based candidates, with potential travel to customer sites and seminars. A strong background in networking, video systems, and customer-facing roles is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in networking and/or video-related systems, preferably in a customer-facing role.
• Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, RESTful, infrastructure, and troubleshooting.
• Proven record of positive customer interactions.
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
• Strong technical writing skills, particularly for manuals and instructions.
• Design documentation skills for video, audio, and network topologies.

Responsibilities

• Support sales growth initiatives in the designated business area.
• Assist Regional Sales Managers with pre- and post-sales opportunities.
• Prepare technical sales support materials.
• Develop system design recommendations.
• Manage projects and maintenance initiatives.
• Present training seminars both on-site and via webinars.
• Coordinate proof of concept and trial installations.
• Troubleshoot and provide on-site solutions.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and sales support teams.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
