Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Service Technician to service and repair air compressors, dryers, and related equipment. You will work closely with customers, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, install systems, and complete service documentation.

Travel to customer sites within a 1-2 hour radius and participate in a rotating on-call schedule. We offer training at our Air Academy, safety-focused culture, and a company vehicle, laptop, and uniform.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical experience in the mechanical, maintenance, or electrical fields.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; EPA certification is a plus.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; travel for paid training (Rock Hill, SC).
• Proficient with computers to complete work orders and training.
• Valid driver’s license and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, low pressure blowers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
• Document all service-related work, start-up forms, warranties, oil samples, and parts returns.
• Attend Air Academy training and work with Senior Service Technicians.
• Promote safety procedures and use of PPE.
• Rotate 24/7/365 on-call with travel to customer locations, including overnight travel.
