Job summary

Atlas Copco Compressors LLC is seeking a Service Technician to service our customers remotely within Wytheville, VA area. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot compressors, dryers, and controls, install systems, and communicate options for repairs.

You will complete service reports and attend training at the Air Academy, traveling to customer sites as needed. You must have 1-2 years in mechanical/electrical maintenance, be fluent in English, hold a high school diploma, and a

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul, and repair of industrial equipment (electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics) preferred.
• High school diploma required; EPA certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, low pressure blowers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
• Travel to customer locations within territory; participate in on-call rotation.
• Complete service-related documentation: service reports, start-up forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, parts return documents.
• Communicate with customers and Service Manager about repairs and options; promote safety procedures.
