Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Service Technician to service air compressors, dryers, and related equipment. This remote role requires travel within a 1-2 hour radius of Houston, TX, including overnight trips when needed.

You will install and troubleshoot systems, complete documentation, and participate in on-call coverage. A HS diploma and valid license are required; EPA certification is a plus. Company vehicle and tools provided.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical fields.
• High school diploma or equivalent; EPA certification is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and fluent in English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics preferred; HVAC a plus.
• Willing to travel for paid training in Rock Hill, SC.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service on air compressors and dryers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
• Learn advanced topics including VSDs, refrigeration, networks, and remote monitoring.
• Pressure wash and clean equipment pads at customer sites.
• Communicate service options to customers and document repairs.
• Complete service reports, warranty forms, and parts documents.
• Attend Air Academy training with senior technicians.
• Promote safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
• Provide high level customer service and meet expectations.
• Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call with travel, including overnight.
• Subject to random drug testing.
