Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Field Service Technician to support industrial bandsaws in the Los Angeles area. You will troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and optimize equipment performance, while coordinating with the sales team to address service requests and opportunities.

The role requires 2–5 years in equipment maintenance, strong mechanical and hydraulic/electrical/pneumatic knowledge, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of equipment maintenance and repair experience in a shop production environment or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, and mechanical systems preferable.
• Technical and mechanical ability to work with tools and machines.
• Sales experience in industrial sales is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including alignment and calibration, to achieve optimal product performance.
• Coordinate with Territory Account Managers to manage territory and service/maintenance requests.
• Use SFDC to collect and maintain data about products, machines, materials, end users, and accounts.
• Stay updated on industry trends by attending trade shows and seminars; learn about innovative technology.
• Identify end-user applications and provide cost-effective product recommendations for saw operations.
