Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Field Service Technician II in Louisville, KY to test, maintain and repair low/medium voltage equipment in shop and field. You will perform testing on breakers and transformers, wiring, reading schematics, and troubleshooting while documenting with Power DB.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in industrial maintenance and power systems testing; a high school diploma is required, with EPC or Electrical Engineering degrees preferred. Remote work is allowed where applicable.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years related experience in commercial and industrial maintenance.
• 2 years minimum of industrial power systems testing.
• Ability to read manuals, reports and procedures; communicate in English.
• Open to field work indoors and outdoors, valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on LV/MV breakers, transformers, switchgear and MCCs.
• Mechanical repairs including tear down, refurbishment and parts replacement.
• Wiring circuit breakers and reading schematics.
• Read and plot time-current curves; document using Power DB.
• Troubleshoot circuit breaker controls; use testing equipment accurately.
