Job summary

Copeland is hiring a Field Service Technician aligned with our US operations. You will perform commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of Vilter refrigeration equipment across the United States, with global opportunities.

Remote work is supported, but travel to client sites and Copeland/Vilter facilities is required up to 80% of the time. The role demands EPA 608 Universal Certification, 5+ years in industrial refrigeration and field experience, and the ability to lift 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Universal Certification required or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience with Industrial Refrigeration.
• 5+ years’ field experience.
• HVACR controls knowledge/experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office for reports and scheduling.
• Must travel freely within the US and Canada.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
• US work authorization; no sponsorship offered.

Responsibilities

• Carry out commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting of refrigeration equipment in the US, with global opportunities.
• Coordinate and assist subcontractors with maintenance and warranty work.
• Perform technical troubleshooting with support from engineering and service teams.
• Contribute to technical training for Copeland and Vilter equipment.
• Collaborate with Sales/BD teams where possible.
• Join joint sales calls when needed.
• Serve as trusted advisor for customer technical inquiries.
