Job summary

Alfa Laval seeks a Field Service Technician for 24/7 on-call field service work at customer locations across the Southeast United States. You will handle preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and training on mechanical, electrical, and electronic components such as decanters and heat exchangers, while managing travel costs and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include on-site maintenance, problem solving, reporting, and updating service systems.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required.
• Over 5 years of experience in similar roles with transmission systems expertise.
• Ability to communicate operational and safety parameters for Alfa Laval equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs at customer sites.
• Investigate and resolve basic technical problems with limited knowledge at customer sites.
• Prepare service jobs according to the FSE Handbook.
• Document service activities and obtain customer signatures.
