Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a HSS Field Service Manager to lead a team of Field Service Engineers and drive service offerings in a remote/hybrid role. The position supports business growth, balancing customer needs with team performance, and bridging Sales with Technicians.

You will develop technicians into trusted advisors, ensure QHSE standards, and collaborate on revenue opportunities while managing remote teams and travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Post-high school technical education or Associate/Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of field technical or technical/commercial sales experience.
• Deep knowledge of Alfa Laval products or HSS.
• Experience in sales collaboration and data analysis to support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Field Service Engineers with a customer-focused mindset.
• Ensure a strong QHSE culture within the team and mentor technicians.
• Collaborate with Sales to develop service offerings and drive leads during service.
• Build and maintain customer relationships, ensuring contract compliance and claims management.
• Supervise project financials, manage gross profit and revenue, identify risks and opportunities.
• Act as a connector between sales and technicians to support market strategies.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and develop skills matrices for the team.
• Ensure team has tools and resources and manage remote staff when needed.
