Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a field service professional to install, maintain, troubleshoot equipment at customer sites, with tasks including on-site preventive maintenance, inspections, and commissioning of turbomachinery and package systems.

The role is remote, supporting US customers from multiple states. Qualified candidates should have a degree or equivalent experience, strong service mindset, and the ability to operate hand tools, gauges, and digital systems under supervision.

Competenze

• Knowledge of customer service concepts and ability to meet or exceed customer needs.
• Proactive and self-driven with action on responsibilities.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of machines used in power plants and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment in oil and gas exploration, production or refining.
• Understanding of safety procedures and regulatory requirements for workers and environment.
• Knowledge of PLC; design, implement and operate automated process controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing setting.

Mansioni

• Use test equipment to diagnose malfunctions with reference to schematics and specifications.
• Under supervision, use tools to analyze, repair or replace faulty parts; utilize digital tools.
• Observe for common causes of issues; lubricate and clean components as guided.
• Under supervision, perform routine installations and adjustments within standard procedures.
