Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a field service technician to install, maintain and troubleshoot equipment at customer sites, performing on-site preventive maintenance and commissioning of turbomachinery and package systems.

This remote role supports customers in Minnesota, Iowa or Missouri with travel and company resources provided. Applicants must pass a DOT drug screen and maintain a clean driving record; the role requires the ability to obtain a Transportation Worker’s Identification Credential

Qualifications

• DOT drug screen required.
• Clean driving record: no moving violations in 12 months, no 2-point violations in 3 years, no DUIs in 7 years.
• Ability to obtain Transportation Worker’s Identification Credential (TWIC).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions using test equipment and schematics under supervision.
• Install and adjust equipment and perform routine maintenance per procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical components at customer sites.
