Job summary

Accuray is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support TomoTherapy and CyberKnife systems remotely from the St. Louis area, with travel to customer sites as needed.

You will perform installation, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance, ensuring high customer satisfaction and safety. The role requires 5+ years in field service of complex electronic equipment, strong troubleshooting and networking basics, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with teams and customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in field service, installation, and troubleshooting complex electronic equipment
• Ability to self-manage schedule and work with limited supervision
• Strong communication skills for engaging with executives and customers
• Solid computer skills with basic networking understanding
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically active environment

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, repair, upgrade, and maintenance support for TomoTherapy and CyberKnife systems at customer sites
• Respond promptly to customer calls and maintain professional communications
• Manage field service activities in assigned territory and travel as required
• Train other staff and customers on maintenance and service activities
• Maintain vehicle and inventory, and complete expense reports promptly
• Develop service documentation and field support tools as needed
