Job summary

PTS Advance seeks a senior field service professional to lead the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of power system equipment. You will support customers and field teams, ensuring reliability and uptime, while guiding on-site activities across power delivery, drives, and controls.

This role is remote with travel up to 60%, requiring strong safety discipline, collaboration with field engineers, and a focus on delivering high-quality service to drive repeat business.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 9+ years of hands-on experience in power systems, commissioning, testing, or maintenance.
• Experience with electrical systems such as medium- and low-voltage switchgear, power panels and MCCs, generators and transformers, electromechanical equipment, protective relays, PLCs and DCS systems.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures, both internal and on customer sites.
• Install, maintain, repair, and commission equipment related to power delivery, control systems, outages, and power quality.
• Support planned and unplanned outages as needed.
• Work closely with field engineers and leadership to execute projects efficiently.
• Build strong working relationships with teammates and customers.
• Deliver a high level of service that helps drive repeat business and referrals.
